If you’re looking for a quality food for your cats - this is the way to go! I have a cat with a chicken allergy and it is actually really tough to find chicken-free kibble for cats that isn’t astronomically priced. This is a great healthy kibble with well-sourced ingredients that my cats love to eat and is chicken-free.

My kitties are just over a year now and have been feeding them this food for most of their lives. I have some feral cats outside that I feed other food to and my kitties like that food (Friskies) but they always acted like they were starving when I gave them some of that food. This food, there is some leftover in the bowls and they graze on it in-between meals. I feel like the other food was like Doritos, it tasted good, but didn't fill you up for long and so you were left hungry. Whereas this food is like oatmeal, may not taste as good but it gives them better nutrition and keeps them full for longer. Now I mix this food with a little of the Friskies to give them the junk food taste, but with the healthy options mixed in, kind of like when you try to hide vegetables in your kids' food :-)

My 1 year old long haired cat has a chicken allergy & is a picky eater. This brand of food has been amazing since I started him on it.Trying to find dry cat food without chicken is hard & my guy made it even harder when he started refusing to eat other brands I'd got him after 1-3 weeks of eating them with no issues. I made sure that I transitioned between foods but still no luck until I tried this brand.This is my second time ordering the Canyon River flavor and I've had no issues with him eating it once (he's been eating it for months). They do also have other flavors without chicken but I'm happy to stick with this one that I know he likes.The food pieces are big but my guy has no problem eating them.My only complaint would be that I can't seem to find this flavor in a smaller bag. This bag is too big for the food container I currently have. If some of the food's ever gone stale, my cat doesn't care.

I've tried out quite a few different grain-free, organic dry food for my cats. I have, unfortunately, lost cats in the past because of bad (for them) food that contributed to urinary tract problems, kidney disease, and ill-health in their later life. Since I started feeding my cats Taste of the Wild, I've noticed that their overall health is excellent. Their coats are shiny and fluffy and I don't have to be concerned with their weight. I've given them both of the available varieties for felines and they've been very receptive to both of them. Even my mum's cats, who are used to a steady diet of mainstream dry food, now really enjoy Taste of the Wild. I have no intention of switching dry food for my feline friends any time soon. When I first got my sweet kitty, every time he went poo it was soooo smelly....ick! I went online and looked for solutions...the 2 I found were get him checked for parasites and get a good grain free food. I did both and I found taste of the wild food. His stool has not stunk since, and when he lived with an overweight kitty that kitty lost weight and his coat became super shiny. He's been eating it for 9.5 years and I stick with mostly the trout and salmon or the venison and salmon.
