Thick socks.
Great quality, a little large on size ordered, nothing a thick pair of socks doesn't fix.

Poor quality - faulty
I had my muck boots for just 6 weeks and I absolutely loved them, they felt really warm and comfortable. After 6 weeks the stitching around d the top began falling apart until pretty much the whole of the top part started coming away. Feel very disappointed that this now falls out of a refund/straight swap period.

Muck boots that are ok, but not the best
Ok for winter outdoor work but I've had better muck boots. Warm enough once I put lamb's wool insoles inside. Wouldn't but this design again.

Quick Conclusion: — Pro’s — -No leaks!! -Quality construction & glues -Durable yet lightweight -Easy on/off, they stay in place unlike others -Fit is great (closer to an athletic shoe than a boot which I love because they obviously don’t have laces) -Warm, but not overbearing -Stylish (for rubber boots...), I am frequently asked about them — Con’s — -Small particles can fall in because they aren’t very tall (I also bought them because they aren’t overly tall) -They weren’t free.. (idk, I can’t think of any other cons) As a civil engineer/land surveyor, I am always in & out of the woods, on construction sites, walking through wetlands etc. “Waterproof” work boots all lose their waterproofing once they’ve been scuffed up by brush & construction debri. I’ve tried multiple pairs of rubber boots from the knock off brands (typically in the $60-$70 range), bad experiences across the board and resisted buying other muck boot & bogs options because they don’t seem to fit very snug. Knock off brands seem to hold up for about 2 weeks until a seam splits or they get a puncture, without fail they fail. These are the first pair of rubber boots that actually fit well. I purchased size 10M in these (I am a 10.5M in Nike/10M in Adidas) and I could almost go for a run in them because they’re very form fitting. Easy on/off, soft & comfortable inner, light, yet very well made. I’ve worn them in temps down to 10deg f with just one pair of socks and was plenty warm. Ive had days walking +10,000 steps and didn’t get any foot fatigue because they stay put & again are light. My one word of caution would be to make sure they align with how you plan to use them. Meaning, they are only 5” tall (which is why I bought them), but if you only plan to wear them through wetlands, tall brush or use in water deeper than 3”-4” I’d look at a different style with a taller shaft. Small bits of leafs & debri can fall in when walking in deep woods, but it’s a compromise I’d be happy to make again due to how great they are in many other areas.

I absolutely love these boots, so much so I bought my husband a pair. I bought mens boots for me even though I'm female for extra width so I could wear thick socks. Loads of room, not sloppy, I can walk my dog for hours. I pray they last, I bought them in October 2024, now February 2025, so fingers crossed. My husband who normally lives in crocks also loves his pair. He's found it very difficult to find comfortable walking boots that are easy on and off. These are perfect

I love the Muck Boots and this is my 3-rd pair only after 4 years. I wear them daily in in often different and many time slots and in All seasons and weather. I take care of our horses and their habitats from A-Z. The boots are the max and once you have worn them you will not want to wear any other anymore. In this case I preferred to take this version with a better sole. The 2 pair of Muck’s I have worn before had rubber soles and were great. But as I put the boots on probably 10-15 times a day. I believe I am well placed as one of the main testers. So I slide in that many times because I often change them when coming in house. I do not want any horse smell inside as I spend my time anywhere with my horses. So I often pull off the boots. There is one thing that you should keep in mind that on the heals there are kind of protents that you should press on with the tip of your other boot to ease the pull-off or the start of it. However this Artic model has better and slightly larger protents. So the contact with the tip of the other boot is better and you can exercise more strength to start pulling of the first boot with your other foot. What you should keep in mind that you use the protents rubber sole Muck’s to pull them off. Putting pressure on the sole rather than the heel as this will loosen the sole in the long run. Now this Artic model seems to have better protents but also a better sole to guarantee non-loosening soles. This model contains robuster soles which is important in my case. Sorry for this long chapter.

I’m really impressed with the Muck Boots Men’s Arctic Excursion Ankle Snow Boots. They’re incredibly warm without feeling bulky, making them perfect for winter chores, walking in snow, or dealing with wet, slushy conditions. The insulation does an excellent job keeping feet warm even in very cold temperatures. They’re lightweight, easy to slip on and off, and surprisingly comfortable for extended wear. The waterproof construction is top-notch — feet stay completely dry no matter how wet or muddy it gets. The sole has great traction too, which is a huge plus when walking on icy or snowy surfaces. These boots feel durable and well-made, exactly what you’d expect from Muck Boots. If you want reliable winter footwear that’s warm, waterproof, and comfortable, these are a great choice. Highly recommend for anyone who spends time outdoors in cold weather.
