When you get the box it's real heavy. Heavier at least than most of the items Amazon will drop off at your house, but that's a good thing. My wife's new vanity has been met with extreme anticipation and wonderful satisfaction as all expectations were met when we received her new makeup vanity.My wife like millions and millions of women in the world, use and apply makeup and this is a subject I stay far far away from. But when we go on vacation or go places or they have vanities or areas where she can sit in front of a mirror and put on her stuff, she winds up with a stunning and beautiful look. I still find her extremely beautiful. Therefore as a good husband I have seen these home makeup vanities and especially my friends if you're buying one for your wife don't even try and buy one unless you get the cool fancy light that comes with it. Because your efforts are in vain if you don't have the light because then it's just a table with a mirror.The makeup vanity that I'm reviewing is a beautiful piece of furniture and you have to do the IKEA assemble at home thing but this time it was quite effective and it made common sense. It required the infamous Allen wrench but everything was easy to assemble and when you take the time to tighten it down at the end it is extremely sturdy and is not going to get loose whatsoever. I thought about dab gluing spots but chose not to, all of the pieces fit very snug against each other.There are a ton of drawers everywhere. Lots of storage and I'm sure lots of happiness. Mirror is very sturdy and I'm still tripping out over the lighting because I think it's quite fantastic how that all works. The color of the wood is dark and rich and it is not particle board or cork board it's wood.That's why the box is so heavy. It's a quality piece of furniture that you assemble with your wife and you watch her smile and glow with anticipation as you set up her new makeup vanity. I highly recommend this item it was attractively priced, and as always Amazon was able to deliver to my house undamaged.

This is EXTREMELY well made, of ACTUAL WOOD (i couldnt find particle boad anywhere on the dressing table), and VERY sturdy.It took about a hour to assemble (but I was moving slowly). The directions were simple to follow. The only thing I did differently, was to attach the mirror to the side box drawers before attaching the mirror to the table, and it made it easier to manage. The mirror is super cool, and has 3 different light sources (halloge, led and incandescent). The mirror plugs into a standard 110v ac wall outlet. When the mirror lights are not being used, a small circle on button remains illuminated on the mirror. Makes for a good nightlight.The customer service for this item was the best i have EVER experienced. I assembled this on a Saturday night, and discovered one of the wooden parts had damage to it. I sent a text as directed in the instruction booklet, and figured it would take a week or longer before i heard back. I was SHOCKED when i got a responce less then 24hrs later on a SUNDAY. I recieved near daily updates regarding the replacement parts, as well as tracking info. The updates were from a real life actual human, not some automated computer responce system. This company actually cares about their customers, and I HIGHLY recomend this product. My daughter loves the dressing table, and its of a sturdy quality that it will last for a VERY long time. My 16yr old actually cleaned her room and now keeps it clean since getting this dressing table. This is not a toy or knock around kid table. We are extremely happy with the purchase.

I think the vanity is really beautiful and the material is great quality. The customer service was incredibly prompt as well. My first mirror kept flickering between the 3 settings or turning off on its own so they quickly sent me a new one. My new one arrived completely shattered (I blame my mailman. Not the company). Finally they sent a 3rd mirror which worked when I plugged it in while it was on the ground but when I attached it to the stand, it did the same thing the first one did. I think maybe the wire connecting to the wall outlet was moving a little or honestly I really don't know. The LED wasn't bright enough for me anyway since my room is pretty dark so I just bought some vanity bulbs to stick onto the mirror and voila. Perfect. I would recommend buying one of their other vanity tables that don't include the built in light and then just attaching your own bulbs to it.

Arrived early...packaging was bulky and hard to get thru...but organized and very well packed! I decided against the overpriced assembly and took on the feat of putting together myself. Instructions were clear and simple! I didnt necessarily follow in their order...but got the job done in about a hour and a half with several coffee breaks. Im not adept with Allen wrench's but it went flawless! The wood seems to be a high quality with compressed mdf to make it sturdy. Very nice hardware for the drawers..and heavy mirror thats not going anywhere! Came with extra pads for the bottom of legs and stool as well as extra hardware for assembly. A small "led" light that stays on for easy access and is actually useful at night, All in all Im really pleased! The sturdiness, quality, and functionality is what I was looking for without the huge price tag! I ordered the cherry wood to match my other decor...and its lovely! If your on the line about this...dont hesitate! A assembly tip ( I put this together on my bed) its easier to maneuver it around. Once the legs are on the vanity you can set it on the floor to finish assembly. Hardest part was getting rid of the packaging!
