Easy to use. This guide does exactly what it proclaims to do. It is of high quality and the blade fits perfectly. I’ve used a craft knife a lot in the past, so I’m accustomed to holding the blade perpendicular to the paper, and using mostly the blade’s point. This is important. I see many people using the knife improperly—and it won’t work with this guide. I had hoped to be able to draw lines or borders with my pencil containing 0.5 lead, but even extended, the lead is too thick. That’s not a complaint, it was just a hope. This ruler is perfect for the job it’s designed to do. The lines are easy to see. (And I have a vision problem.) It’s great! As you can see from the photo, I like to salvage scraps of paper, so I try to arrange my dies in a way that the edges are preserved for strips. Even thinner strips than this. They’re so handy. Actually, my main hope was that I’d be able to cut message strips to the right size. I’m confident that this will work, if I can work around the prisms in my glasses. Things tend to go “uphill” on the right. 🙁

I have a hard time judging what the exact center is of a card, and this helps with plenty of hash marks to tell what the right alignment is. It takes the guess work out of it. The slit for the craft knife, I've used for a pencil, no cutting yet, but I'm sure it will work fine. Nice heavyweight, not flimsy, clear set of rulers/alignment aids. The writing is pink, but it is fairly dark so I don't have a problem seeing it, but if you need clear black lines to see this may or may not work for you.

There was a minor learning curve when I first got this new AWESOME tool ... just learning to be comfortable with lining up and cutting with a knife (rather than a cutter). I am AMAZED at how much better my cards look having a PERFECT border around ALL sides. I really love this VERY CLEVER tool. I also find that I’m using the ruler for MANY things ... even if I don’t need to cut anything. It helps me line up sentiments on stamps, place them on my card, etc. The ruler is thick, made of great quality material, and I’m SO glad I bought this!

I work at a locally-owned print shop. We mostly do large orders for other businesses, but also we take walk-in orders for letters, scrapbook projects, cookbooks, and mementos - especially around holidays. I've only been using the Cut-Align ruler for about a week now and it's already one of my favorite tools. The tapered cut line is as precise as the rotary cutter I occasionally use and the blade doesn't travel at all so you can get a clean edge with even a lazy cut. Not only that, but you can also use the cut line for corner/edge folding AND you can use it for perfect scoring on small sheets by laying the sheet over the cut line and running a bone folder over through the line and over the sheet. No scoring board needed. It's perfect for small, quick projects. I'll definitely be ordering more in the future.

These are going to work perfectly for me when designing cards. I can't wait to try it! Should have known about this sooner. Definitely worth buying. Just my opinion. Happy crafting

This is a great product, it would be better if there was a better way to see exactly where you were cutting underneath but the opening for the blade Hass to be tiny so I understand why. This worked perfect the two times I have used it… Just got it three days ago LOL

LOVE, Love these rulers, they work great to cut strips for my card making. They are easy to use and easily hold the paper while you are cutting around photos or layered card making. You can use several styles of cutting blades with the rulers. They are part of the items I reach for most often when needing to cut cardstock and printed paper. Thanks for a great product!

Liked the color easy to use. have not used the slot in the middle yet but I have been using them for making my cards and mini albums. Love that they are beveled
