Truly excellent!
I counted, and this is my 9th slide. I have bottlenecks, glass tubes, metal tubes. Always in search of something better. I think my search is over. As a pinky-player, this is the ultimate slide. The tapered inside makes a huge difference in fit and comfort. I am 6'2", 165 lbs. and it fits my pinky perfectly. YMMV. I also found the ring finger side notch to be a surprising benefit because it gives you a bit more support control, while leaving your ring finger close to the strings for muting. The sound is outstanding. I like the "heft" of solid brass, yet it is not too heavy for quick moves. Great sustain. I use it with a Gretsch Honey Dipper resonator with D'Addario EJ42 strings.I think the Joey Landreth Signature version is better than Rock Slide's normal brass pinky slide because it is longer.

Feels great
I own 4 slides and never really got in to it because they just never felt right. I didn't really understand how it was supposed to fit until I got this one. I thought I was probably a ring finger player, but after sliding this on my pinky I'm a convert. It fits perfectly, you can still bend your finger somewhat, and the added heft toward the finger tip makes it feel really balanced and controllable. I'm excited to finally get in to slide playing properly now.

Best brass slide I've ever owned. (Pinky)
This slide is amazing. Bought a bunch of dunlops and fenders and although this one is a bit pricier I felt the design and quality are worth every penny. Also bought the regular brass one from The Rock but it felt too short. This one has the perfect length and it fitted nicely. I have long thin fingers but because it's tapered it adjusts to your finger the deeper you put it.

If glass slides wobble on your finger, try this
A bit tight on my finger and doesn't have as much warmth as a glass slide, but even though it's heavier, it's easier to play and not fret out on a standard set up guitar. More maneuverable and accurate. I can actually pull off fretting behind the slide without raising the action. Placement of the finger groove is a bit odd. If you put it so the cutaway is square (great feature allowing you to bend you finger) the finger groove is a bit around the top, as if you were using the ring finger to help press the slide down. Seems like it would make more sense to have it along side the pinky so you can mute a bit.Note, this slide is for folks who play with the pinky. I don't have big hands and it's tight on mine. If you put the slide on your ring or other fingers, check the Rock Slide sizing chart and use a different one.I don't play much slide, but with this I may be able to develop that aspect of my playing.
