My son wanted a costume for Halloween as a WW2 soldier. Pretty close and a good quality that he can use to play with after.

Short of buying an actual combat helmet, this is the most realistic you can get for the money. Sure you can spend more and get a air-soft helmet that is better, but those are too expensive for a kids toy. This helmet may be too big and slightly heavy for my Five year old nephew's boy's head, but I'm not worried, because my little brother actually went out and bought actual surplus army helmets to get the realism, when we were kids, and he could handle it just fine. He was probably only 7 or 8 at the time as well!! This one is lighter than a PASGT helmet of the kind I was issued in the Army, and just as real looking! In fact, I wonder if these were a training helmet from a foreign country and ended up surplus taken over from a toy merchant. I don't think you can get much more realistic than this. I'm not worried about the web suspension lasting inside, a guy could just glue some foam plastic stand off pieces if the net gives out. It would be easy to fix.

This is a great helmet. It's a little big for me/my stepson (22" heads) and hard for us to adjust the strap but only have to adjust once and it's set. Note: I got an amazon warehouse open-box type deal and the one they sent me had little dark red spots on it which strongly resemble blood (still think maybe it is!). My stepson didnt seem to notice/care so not a problem. But, I'm a little surprised Amazon didn't catch that...not the product or sellers fault so still 5 stars!

When I ordered this I expected it to be a flimsy child's helmet but it's is made of very strong materials and is well worth the money . My great nephew is going to love it. It almost seems like a real army helmet.

The helmet was purchased as a gift for a young boy with a vivid imagination. It was delivered wrapped in bubble wrap inside the primary shipping box. Helmet It is heavier and thicker than I thought it would be, fairly sturdy, no apparent flex. The Camo cover looks good, fits well. The headliner/strap system is designed ok, BUT manufactured poorly - it is mostly nylon webbing, but several areas werenoticeably fraying and/or completely separated (see picture). Order was "fulfilled by Amazon",which is why I'm disappointed - the AMZN picker/packer never even looked at the item before they shipped it - it is SO obvious, especially since they had to handle the unit to wrap it in bubble wrap (Maybe they purposely did it to get rid of damaged inventory betting people won't bother to return it...)... I never used to have problems with Amazon, but this is the 4th item in the past year that my family has been received defective or damaged.

My younger son loves it. Well made, quality construction. Light enough for him. Fits a little big on him, but strap adjustments keep it in place nicely. Looks great. Very satisfied.

What Zombie Warrior Doesn't Need a helmet?! My 8-Year Old loves to play soldier... This tactical helmet completes his costume. It does a great job protecting your soldier from NERF head shots! It is fully adjustable to fit your youngster. Looks good and realistic in the digital camo print.

Great design for a kid helmet , is sturdy enough and looks the real thing , bought this as a gift for my son and he hasn’t taken off in days. Fits wells for kids between ages 8 and 12 I would say
