I absolutely hate the traditional can openers with the twist. I've nearly cut my finger tip off due to how bad those are. This can opener? Super easy to use and I don't have to worry about the can top not getting completely off.

It works and will work for a hundred years no problem. Dishwasher safe. It does require a little patience but that's intrinsically in the design.

got this because the battery one stopped working and the rotary one doesnt grasp any more. this is amazing! a bit of a learning curve but easy peasy after that. good to have on hand, will never fail!

I bought this because I live in Florida and with hurricanes I wanted something that would be small and easy to use. Item is sharp and super easy to use once you get the hang of it took a few trials and errors but once I got easy peasy. and opens cans easily. Safety-wise really no different than any other can opener.

Bought as an impulse off a video I saw. My can openers usually break pretty easily. So needed something more durable and this has been amazing. Easy to grip, cuts through all size cans. I’ve had it for a while now and still opens can as easily as when I first got it. It looks great. I have issues with joints and muscles and this makes opening cans soMuch easier very comfortable. Gets the job done. Worth the money.

I use this to open all my cans. Like another reviewer has mentioned, it takes a little bit to develop the technique of using this. But once you do, it goes fairly quickly, just as fast as any other regular can opener. The reason why I bought this is because I see Japanese cooking videos and restaurants always use this style of opener. So I'm hoping they last longer than the standard american style opener which for me usually last like 6-12 months and that it. I will say that my wife struggles to use this. I don't know why it doesn't take strength it takes technique and she thinks it takes brute force so she makes me open everything.

This can opener is great! Hard to break, easy to clean, very aesthetic, although works best for right-handed people. I have had so many twist can openers of various brands and those broke so often, this one is very solid a great addition to my kitchen drawer.
