Good Night, Baby (revised) (What-A-Baby Series) Board book – March 1, 1997

My son LOVES this book. He is 14 months old. He will get this book and come and sit in my lap so that we can read it together.It is a nice, simple book about a bedtime routine. My husband has pointed out the baby's favorite toy that appears on every page except one, in which hubby speculated that the toy is under the bucket. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to have found this wonderful book featuring a black child for my black child. He sees a baby that looks like him doing normal baby stuff before bed.

I bought this book and several others for our African-American son. Our family of 4 is of 4 different ethnicities. Our youngest is 1 year old and he loves this book. The text is simple and age appropriate for 9 mo. to 3 years. We have a basket of books for him and he will dig this one out.Though our bookselves are diverse when it comes to children's books with paper pages I found that our board books were lacking in divesity when it came to the faces of children in the stories so I made a point to find some books for our beautiful brown baby with faces more like his. I am very pleased at how much he loves this simple little book.

This whole What a baby series was a hit with my Granddaughter. She kiss the lil boys picture good night when we read this to her. These books fit perfect in her little hands so she feels like a big girl and gets to turn the pages.The books always bringd a smile to my face when I watch her as we read to her. Her all time favorite is "Good Morning Baby"Two thumbs up to Cheryl Willis Hudson.: )

Its a really cute book, but short. I guess those are the intention of it though. Short and sweet bedtime story to get baby to bed quickly

I bought this in 2009 when I had my first son. Now 9 years later I am reading this to my 9 month old. I enjoy this bokk.

It is a cute book but I like Good Morning Baby a whole lot better. The words flowed better and it is my baby's favorite book. That is exactly why I decided to get part two. This book is nice but it just does not hold her attention the way the other book does. She has almost memorized the Good Morning Baby and she is only 18 months!

This may sound off color, but I bought this book because all of the other children's books have Caucasian children in them, I wanted my child to know that there are children's books for everyone not just Caucasian children. This does have a nice story line to it and the pictures are enjoyable.

I love the great, simple story of bedtime routine, and wonderful pictures that go with it. Great to use with newly placed foster or adopted kiddos. Helps in teaching routine in a safe, calm story.

My son loves this story and it’s beautiful pictures, especially the one with a mom reading to her son. So great to have a book where he can see his own likeness.

Brought for grandson under 1, want him to see positive images of himself and his family. He likes seeing the pictures which are very lifelikeGood buy
