I don't see it in the description; the ear wires are not sterling and they are very thin and prone to bending which is when you will notice the 'silver' chip off and the base metal apparent. I just wish postings would be comprehensive and honest so that I can decide if the item is worth it for me!

Great pair of 925 Sterling Silver earrings with a slight weight to them. Not too heavy. Impressive packaging to give as a gift. The earrings came in a plastic bag inside the gift box, so make sure you take them out and hook them on the earring holder.I took a picture especially showing the “flatness” of the earrings another review wrote about. I think they are perfectly fine. No one looks at the back of your earrings. Note that these WILL fall out of your ears. You will need a stopper for the ‘fish hook’ which is not included.

These are lovely! The purple stone is a nice size and reflects color beautifully. The drop is about an inch, understated but eye catching. They arrived in a box, well secured in side. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

... the ear wire is too thin. Wanting to make sure I didn't lose them, I carefulyy put a silicon backing on but not without bending the wire, so they would have broken eventually. Please make these with a lever-back clasp! I hate to return them because they are so pretty but back they go :(

These are just about exactly what I expected. For the price they are very pretty and lightweight. They are the perfect size and love the purple stones. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they are a little thin but for around $20, what can you expect? I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend them.

I had to put a rubber back on them to keep them from falling out of my earlobes. I was quite surprised it happened. However, very pretty.

The stones' don't seem to be set correctly. The first pair I recieved had one stone that extended above the setting, giving it a nice cut, sparkle and color. The other stone was set back so it was flat. No sparkle and very light color. I ordered an exchange and both of these stones came in like the flat one. This turned what could have been a nice pair of earrings into an OK pair.

I gave a 4 not 5, because they are flat. Not quite sure how else to say it, physically flat. I think I was expecting something a bit more 3D from the pictures. To me it looks like the silver scroll work would be layered and it doesn't feel that way. They are beautiful and I love them. But I am a purple freak, give me purple and I am happy, just not sure that had I been able to touch them before I purchased that I would have gotten them. They do look lovely on, have gotten lots of compliments on them.
