Playtex Women's 18 Hour Wireless Bra 474C, Ultimate Lift T-Shirt Bra, Stretch-Cotton, Full-Coverage

I've bought this bra several times and I'm going to be up-front: This is the best wireless bra I've ever used, though it's not without fault. I'm in a 36D, so comfort and support are everything in a bra.There are so many bras on the market today offering total support and absolute comfort without the hassle or danger of wire. All of these claims so far, as a larger-busted woman, I find to be false. It's actually come to the point where I no longer consider wire-free bras an option for my wardrobe simply for the fact that they are so uncomfortable to wear. If there's no wire there's no support, and if there's no support there's no comfort.So that's what surprised me about this bra in particular - it offers some support and manages to keep my girls where they need to be. That being said, it's not perfect, and even in a good handful of reviews here it's easy to see that. It doesn't offer the same support of a wired bra nor the same comfort, and it's honestly pretty foolish to think you'd get that in the first place.I wouldn't wear this bra to work (a very active warehouse job), though I could trust it around the house or on simple errands. I could wear it to bed and under pj's on a lazy day, but not under skin-tight clothing for parties (there's no padding, so you shouldn't expect it to hide much in the first place).It's a lounge bra, a simple and easy bra that you can't expect a miracle from but can trust to get the bare basics of its job done.

This bra is like the military general of bras! Girls are not going anywhere lol. I am a breastfeeding mama weighing in at around 280, and I ordered the 42DD. That is typically the right size for me. I will say it feels a little snug on the loosest settings and I had to loosen the straps significantly in order to even get it on. That being said, this bra is exactly what I needed. It is discouraging and embarrassing to have to readjust your bra in public, and sometimes I have my hands full of kids and can't do anything about it and just have to live with the embarrassment. I needed something this no nonsense! I have only two issues with it out of the slight snugness I already mentioned: the straps are rather wide and the bra comes up a bit high. These are all problems I can live with, considering. I have been wanting more conservative clothing so this is further incentive to have shirts that cover more. The straps being wide are a bit annoying, especially since they aren't very cute looking, but I'll manage. Surprisingly, this was not very difficult to manage breastfeeding with. I was able to pop one out and slip it back in with ease. Perhaps this is only because I am not small chested, but this is a product review for my personal experiences. For the price, this is a fantastic bra, and one that I can afford to replace when needed. Picture is to show what it looks like under the shirt, which I also just ordered (fantastic shirt!)

My search for a comfortable bra continues. I don't understand why bra manufacturers don't seem to know that the bigger the breasts are, the heavier they are, so women with larger breasts need more support and more comfortable straps and bands.I work between 8 - 14 hours a day so I need a bra that is comfortable and provides support for at least 16 hours. This bra lasts about 3 hours before I feel the straps digging into my shoulders. When I got home today, my shoulders were red and sore. The back of the bra had hiked up and the front had slipped down, with my breasts spilling out over the tops of the cups. The wider, supposedly padded part of the straps had also slipped down so the narrower part dug into my shoulders. I've worn this two or three times and probably won't be wearing it again.

Recently I've began needing to wear all cotton bras to assist with sweating. Sports bras are too constricting for everyday use so after some serious searching around many websites-- I found this bra. Playtex is already well known for its support so honestly if you already own any type of Playtex bra then you already know this one is also superb just in cotton material. I'm definitely searching for one in every color :)

Just wish there was a tad more padding like I thought there would be from the pictures so my nipples don't show through, but great for sweater weather!!Also, the straps are different than on the package..Sooo I originally gave this a 4 star, but having worn it to work for the past 3 days of work, I MUST upgrade to 5..... It is now by far my most prized possession... I have DDs, and a very active job. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or like a squeezed tube of toothpaste... If my boobs weren't so heavy, it would honestly feel like nothing is there!!!

I don’t know how this bra has any good reviews. This is the most uncomfortable bra I’ve ever put on, it fits smaller than the other bras I own despite being a larger size. I purchased a larger cup size than my usual because my bras were a bit snug, and while the cup size was perfect, whoever designed the straps and the back of the bra is clearly satan because this bra literally hurt me, I even loosened the straps entirely and they were STILL digging into my back so substantially that it caused bruising, and it left marks on my skin as well.If I could give this bra negative stars, I would. I highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Took some finding a cotton rich bra.Would prefer cotton material cups but knitted will have to do.Cotton is so expensive now to make anything & these bras are much more comfortable than synthetic fabric in the hot weather.Hand wash will keep this a good shape.The hooks are not wide enough,so had to add an extension hooks to place as seen in the picture.The model was way smaller busted than a fuller bust.Suggest the next cup size up to fit well or there is no separation of bust,as pictured. At last a really comfortable bra.Always go for ‘cross your heart’ support. Like most underwear not as good as used to be.This a good compromise.

This bra does not do as advertised it's NOT comfortable for 18hours as described. I have the correct size but find eveb after just 6 hours I have pains beside my breasts and around my chest plus it leaves unsightly red marks on my skin. You can get a similar underwired product for much cheaper from high street shops. Don't waste your money.

The finish and material of this Playtex bra is really good but the fit is way off. I wear several other Playtex styles which fit true to size. Unfortunately it is not practical to return the bra from the UK because it has come from Indianapolis USA and the postage is prohibitive.

I find this bra to be very comfortable, soft, lovely fit.

I normally take a 40C bra. I ordered this in a 40B because I had one already in a 40C that was too big in the cup. The 40B was still too big in the cup but I washed it and put it in the dryer 3 times and because it is cotton is shrank enough that it now fits. I was looking for a bra that was cotton and without elastic and this is very hard to find.This is now a very comfortable bra. Also, I have another 18 hour cotton bra by Playtex in size 40C and the circumference is shorter then the 40B described above. I have to put the 40B in the tightest hooks to fit. Something wrong with Playtex sizing.
