Does this come with the leads and clips to connect to track?

The GM-GMC-W is a walkaround controller used to extend control from the main control panel. This controller does not come with a transformer so you will need to use a 16v AC supply nor does it come with the clips to attach the it to the track.

Hi Tony. If you haven`t brought an M1 transformer, you won`t be able to use the GMC-W Hand-Held units. I brought an M1 Cased transformer along with two GMC-W Single (Hand-Held) track controllers for my `O` GAUGE garden railway. Firstly, the HH`s were REWIRED with much longer cable (20`) enamelling me to walk up and down the station area. On each end, I fitted a FIVE PIN DIN PLUG. The M1 was wired conventionally to the track. One wire (RED) was attached to one `RAIL`. The other (BLACK wire) was attached to the other `RAIL`. Conveniently positioned somewhere on this `BLACK` wire (preferably the outside face of the layout), I fitted the `DIN SOCKET`. Connecting the HH in this socket completes the circuit. does the gaugemaster gm-gmc w model come supplied with transformer

Hi This unit does not come with a transformer. There are four wires connected to it, two connect to the track and the other two to a 16V AC output from a separate suitable transformer. It's a nice little unit, light and easy to use with one hand, and gives smooth operation to my locos which range from new to 50 years old!
