I thought it was great. The HDMI port and the two USB ports ...
When I first got it, I thought it was great. The HDMI port and the two USB ports gave me more than my Lenovo Yoga 720 had on its own. I haven't had any problems. It's very functional. The problem, however, is the hub covers all the ports on the left. The hub does have the charger port, but I no longer have access to my earphone jack or the second lightning port (not sure of its function yet). But it's actually the earphone jack that is key for when I'm working anywhere besides my home office, which is 85% of time, because I listen to music or rewatch the movies or plays I write about. I would have returned it, but I took too long to begin the process. While the jack seems trivial to some, because of what I do, it's really necessary. So I would recommend it with caution.

2016 macbook pro screen extender
I have been looking for 3 months to find a dock where I could extended my 2016 MBP with touchbar to my monitors. This product worked perfectly how I wanted it to. The reason for 3 stars is that when the hub is inserted into the USB-c port there is a lot of wiggle room. It wouldn't be hard to imagine a scenario where the hub was broken off while the USB-c male was still inserted.Side bar:I have a display link dock for my windows based laptop that connects through USB 3.0. I had attempted to use this dock with my MBP, but the USB-c to USB-a that apple sells is a piece of crap. The dongle that Apple sells is USB 2.0 (which i didn't know at the time) so when plugged into the display link dock there was a lot of lag. With a proper USB-a 3.0 to USB-c adapter my display link dock works just fineSummary:If you are looking for a way to extend your 2016 MBP to two monitors (both HDMI) this would probably be the HUB for you. I would just be careful and not break it off in your $1500+ laptop.

Works well, though minor issue with KVM.
Works well, though minor issue with KVM.I use this at home to pair my Macbook Pro 15 to one of my large monitors on my desk. I use a KVM to switch between my desktop (Windows 10) and Mac, each getting two of the 3 monitors when switched to itself. The only issue I have, which may be more of a HDMI or KVM switch issue, is when I switch to the Mac, sometimes the external monitor attached via the KVM switch will go blue screen. I have to disconnect and reconnect this dongle quickly from the Mac, then both screens come up and work smoothly.I normally run the power through this as well, so using power, HDMI, and USB.

Sorta Crappy
Very Flimsy and Cheap feeling. The reason I bought it for, the HDMI didn't work well, it constantly cut out and was flickering. I gave this 3 stars because the one I bought to replace this has similar issues with the HDMI until you plug in the USB C passthrough. The port was underpowered. It may have been the issue with this one but I'm not sure. I still would have returned it because it's very flimsy when connected and feels like its putting much too much stress on the Macbook USB C port.

It's great but.
It's great but... Just imagine if you have your computer with a case protector, then you will find a problem. There is a small area that as part of the external case, don't let you plug this adapter completely, so, sometimes it's going to unplug easily. You will have to make sure that is pushed all there way and not even look at it, other wise it will disconnect all your dispositives. The only solution either brake that part of the case, do not use the lower part of the protection case, or simply buy another kind of hub that comes with a short cable. If you find any other solution, I'm glad to hear it.

Good adapter for the macbook
The product arrived with a nice package. I use it as an adapter for my Macbook. The color looks awesome to match the color of the Macbook. The hub can be inserted into the port of my macbook easily and it is quite tight. There are two USB 3.0 ports which are available for me to plug in the USB devices. I plug in a mouse and a headphone which work fine. There is another C-type port which allows me to plug in the charger line. It has a small blue light that indicates things are working.

Insufficient Power for a Dell 13" XPS
I was hoping to use the USB-C port to pass through power for my Dell 13" XPS laptop. I found another review that said this device had a 100W capacity. THIS IS INCORRECT. It only passes through 22W, as my wonderfully informative laptop told me when I plugged my power adapter into the Catnee. Since the laptop needs 30W of power, my plan didn't work. :/I'm also a bit worried that holding the laptop on my lap anything plugged in through this device could cause damage to the device - it's unsupported and doesn't feel sturdy, but I think that would be a problem with any device like this.Pros: It adds a lot of port functionality to a laptop that has far too few ports. I'll update the review if I have any problem with the ports working.

Usually gets the job done
So first off, it generally gets the job done. I am able to directly plug it into my laptop (which I like for aesthetic purposes) which has it's pros and cons depending on your use case. My issue was around 6 weeks after purchasing the product the USB hubs started acting up, and only one consistently worked. As I use them for my peripherals this was an issue. I contacted customer service at Amazon and they said I'd have to pay a restocking fee and jump through hoops to get a replacement, which I think is pretty bogus after using for fewer than two months. So not sure how great the product is if you get one that works all the time.
