Beautiful shelf. I was so hoping it would be a good match for my oak mirror - which is also medium oak - as it is to go beneath it. I couldn't have got a better match (especially buying each the mirror and the shelf from different places). This is very heavy - I bought the 4.5 ft one.I love how it has three slots for the bolts, as opposed to holes (like the one I have in my hallway). This enables you to move the shelf along the wall either way until it suits (in case it's a little out). We did actually have to do that. This is a really useful touch as once it's up, and it's slightly out, that is it, unless you want to take it all off again and start drilling more holes. Great call from the makers!A quality shelf which looks gorgeous. I would highly recommend!

Very good and happy with it.My only word of advice is make sure that you drill the holes at right angles to the wall. We thought we had but when we fitted the shelf it had a sight angle (along the depth) hence a ball would roll off it. Having said that the other angle (the length) can be adjusted by the brackets so that it is fine.Other than that it looks fine.

Beautiful shelf and I can't fault it, I followed clear instructions on fitting and all was going well until I tried screwing the screw fitting in and as I did this I could feel the wall plugs turning inside the wall... Could be my walls I'm not sure !! As you can guess the wall plugs came clean out of the wall and where split(women & DIY) so it's still not up as now need new wall plugs

Quick arrival, good quality wood (and obviously freshly stained too) and the fixings are very sturdy, although bear in mind that you WILL need a solid wall to fit this to - it is chunky and heavy! Looks good with a reclaimed Parisian oak wood desk though :D

Good solid piece of wood and looks great on the wall. only downside is that the holes for the wall studs were slightly off true and I had to re-drill holes at a slight angle to get the shelf level.

Wow! These are just stunning. Fixings big so be prepared for a lot of drilling, but so worth it. Sturdy and stunning.

To be honest i had to make this fit, the floating bolts provided were not aligned

The shelf was delivered on time and packed beautifully ...It looks lovely used as a mantel shelf over the stove and makes a lovely feature in our lounge ...good value too but looks expencive
