The best stand I tried for reading in bed, watching videos-adjusts to my tablet well. A detailed review below...
Since I love to use my tablets to read in bed, I tried various hard folding stands (made just for a particuler model of tablet) and also I a smaller pillow stand. None of which I liked! Then I discovered the Lap Pro polka dotted pillow stand and I am delighted with it, So below, I will tell you why I love this pillow stand:1 This stand is adorable, and comfortable to use. The stuffing is constructed of foam beads and the pillow stand is firm and my tablets fit securely inside.2 Fit...Don't worry, it is not just for an iPad. It is made to fit many brands of tablets. **The ledge edge is thich enough so that my tablets stat out securely.***I own a Samsung Tab A 9.7 and Samsung Tab 8.0. Tab 4 10.1 And all fit well in this pillow. Each fits fine in the pillow stand. I placed them in the case without a case/stand, however, the edge in the stand will hold most tablets in a thin case, I tried on my slim cases on the tabkets and fit fine, I just like them in a tablet sleeve for protection/storage.2. Adjusting thus pillow stand for your tablet...since every tablet is of different size and area around the screen (with home buton, etc), I found easy ways to adjust the pillow stand around my tablets perfectly.***To adjust this pillow around your tablet it is easy, simply push your tablet gently into the pillow stand, the foamy cushion adjusts to the tablet.3 My Samsung Tab A 9.7 was easiest to adjust in this pillow stand. The landscape bezel edges are narrow, so what I did to view all areas of the tablet....I placed my tablet in landscape on the TOP part of the pillow stand while it was on my lap. Then, I gently pushed down the handle (it is easy to manuever). This gave me a very close to full view of my tablet. In Portrait mode, I did the same thing so I could see the Home Button, etc.4 Viewing in Tab 4 8.0....since this tablet has very thin edges top and bottom in landscape, I was not totally able to view all my screen in landscape. Since I use my Tab 9.7 much more (90 percent of time), I can deal wirh this OK.However, my full score is 4.6 rounded off to 5 stars because it is comfortable on my lap in bed and also because I can adjust my 9.7 tablet so well both in landscape and portrait to the perfect viewing angles. For the iPad mini and other iPad tablets, this should fit great. Also if you have a tablet with wide bezels, then the fit is fine. Also, I tried my older Samsung Tab 4 10.1 tabket....fit was perfect. There is so much length and width in the ledge that a 12 inch tablet (without cover) shold fit.If you like to read ot watch videos in bed, this is the pillow stand I suggest to you.

I love this!
I was looking for a stand to use in the car for a trip and felt it would work well. I also saw all the great reviews. I'm so happy I bought it. It worked really well. It fit iPad Pro and my iPad mini. It's soft and squishable but stiff enough to hold the tablets upright. There is also a zipper compartment to put a charging cord or whatever you need. You can carry it by the front handle. There is also an opening under where the tablet sits that allows you to charge it while still using it. I also think the material is really cute.I am very happy with my purchase it and I would definitely recommend it.

It's ok, but could be better
I had been using a book style tablet case, but recently changed to a different type, therefore, I wanted something for placing the tablet so I could set it down while watching a video, etc (but not a stand as that wouldn't be great if I were to place it on my lap). This pillow does a decent job of this, however, I would say there are a couple things that make it, not completely perfect, though still acceptable.it's a bit overfilled. You don't notice this when you get it as it seems roomy enough. But once you put the tablet in the slot it's not easy to shift it to a desired postion. It could stand to have less filler so that it would be more maliable. But it's not terrible and I think, over time, it might loosen up a bit, so maybe this problem will correct itself. It's also very light, and, while this seems like a good thing in theory, once the tablet it placed in the slot, depending on the surface you're trying to laying the pillow, it will flop forward because of the tablet's weight. This could probably be remedied by placing something with a bit of weight inside, like a weighted beanbag or something. But that's not something the buyer should need to do so I'm calling that a negative.Having said that, it's got an open space, in the area where you put the tablet, so you can run your charging cord under the pillow without interference, so that's a plus. And it's got a very nice sized zipper pocket within, so you can store things (and you could easily put some weight in there too to solve the weight balance problem.)Overall, It does a reasonable job. I was going to return it as I didn't think I'd use it. But I've found that I've been able to make it work for the purposes for which I purchased it, so I'm going to keep it. But there are areas for improvement.

I so wanted to love this
This is lightweight and seemed like the perfect iPad holder. No. It is stuffed quite full so the only allowable reading position you can make is straight up. My iPad kept falling over, even when I determinedly kept pushing the roll back so it would incline. Needs a redesign to function as it states in web description

Position flexibility solved
I love these things. I have had the small black one for my small tablet since years, so easy to transport, use, travel with, use as a pillow in airplanes. I was surprised that the big one which I need now for my IPad Pro 12.9 was not made in black also but I got used to this colorful one. I wish we had a choice. This one is very sturdy, fuller and of course bigger to support the weight and size of the IPad. Love them both and use both. They slide on my table and prevent scraping from hard covers, I can tilt them the way I want, I use them more than the actual tablet cover because they are so malleable. They became part of the tablet and of the IPad, wherever they go so do these "support cushions", on my lap, on my stomach when I lay down, on top of another cushion if I need more heigth. I never have to worry about the tilt, I can always get the tilt I want,to read, work or watch movies. Well worth getting.

Use every night
I’ve bought 3-5 different “lap book pillows” and this is the only one I use. I love the light, beanbag feel, and it contours well to my lap. Love the handle and storage pocket. I’ve used it so far with hard cover books, but have no doubt it works with any kind. I don’t plan to use it for holding a tablet or phone.
