Happy cactus garden
I wanted a cactus area with different kinds of rock and this worked out perfectly in several areas. I am not finished with this part of the yard yet, but I also want black and red rock so I am taking my time planning it. These mini white rocks show up so well. Just the right size and clean with no dust.

Tropical Aquarium Substrate
Works great in a multi-layer substrate situation, as the bottom layer. For plants in pots I'd use something cheaper, like pearlite.

Not messy. Easy to use
This was recommended on line to use when planting Darrow Blueberries. So I bought it and divided it between 3 plants. The cost was about $5.00 a plant. It was clean and easy to use. Now, I'm just waiting with fingers crossed. I' m in North Florida and have sandy soil.

The size is perfect without doing the extra work of sifting
This was the perfect size I was looking for without any sifting. A bit pricey? Sure. But, the convenience and quality of the product is perfect. There is pretty much no dust at all....some on the packaging plastic but when you pour it, nothing. Will buy again when needed.

I'LL NEVER USE PERLITE AGAIN!
Pumice doesn't give me nasal and lung problems like perlite does even when I wear a mask. It isn't dusty at all, let alone like perlite. It doesn't float up out of the soil like perlite does. And it makes a wonderful cover layer that slows evaporation and keeps fungus gnats out of your soil. I mix the same amount of pumice into my potting soil as I did perlite, and the drainage is great. I am just delighted to have found this product.
