Only used 3 times, the latch broke on both, despite the fact that they were for 2 small dogs.

Have purchased a few dog restraints none worked or dogs chewed them. These however keep dogs safe and secure and had no issues with being in the car. Can be shortened or lengthened as needed.

We bought this product to stop our aged dog from climbing all over the place in the car. She gets very excited when she's in the car, and will not sit still. We have a harness for her, but we have to keep her in the boot of our hatchback/estate car as she sheds hair all over the place. With this we thought we might try putting her on the back seat, hooking the loop over the headrest. In no minutes she was tangled up in the lead part, half strangled, and the material had twisted into a vicious rope. Still using this product with the loop over the head rest of the car, we put her in the boot. Nope. When she went quiet, we stopped the car and found her pinned to the back of the seat where she had got it wrapped around her, hardly able to breathe. So we abandoned the product altogether and went back to our old method of a rope attached to a swivel clasp, attached to a ring in the floor of the boot. Comfort all round!If you have an active or agitated dog, I would not recommend this product. If you have a dog that totally behaves itself and sits quite still while in the car, then it could work.Also, I thought it was quite flimsy, not at all sturdy enough. But then it was inexpensive - well it was for a pack of two. The other one is still in the bag! And I did not think the clasp swivelled as it should, perhaps not as freely as it should.

Used to secure dogs in car via a harness. Purchased another pair for my son to use for his dog so obviously I’m happy with product.

I bought this for my daughter to use with her dachshund, as her car is too small for a crate, which is what we use for our dogs. She’s really pleased with it and found it very easy to use. Her pup is also very happy and sits proudly on the back seat, looking out of the window.

To be honest, I haven’t used this as a dog seatbelt in a car, but hooked to a body harness, not a neck collar, would think it would do the job. I actually use it when we go into restaurants, coffee shops etc, i.e. as a lead to clasp around chair legs, table legs or even my ankle! It’s much easier with this seatbelt lead, as it’s short enough that your dog can’t go far and is quick to fasten around a chair leg. I was finding it cumbersome to somehow wrap a flexi-lead around a chair leg etc, so now carry this seatbelt lead to use instead. Quick and easy, and no doggie wandering off or getting in the way of other people.
