Water infiltration through top cover
Not very resistant . This is my 3rd pair, up down . Water gets into the switch . Rubber cover breaks down after 2to3years

Purchased 2, warranty is 2 years, both failed ~2.5 years
Lasted just over 2 years which is when the warranty expired. Micro-cracks from usage and UV allowed water into the switch which corroded. Quick honored the warranty the first time but the same exact thing happened to the switch for the other direction 6 months later and they didn't honor the warranty for that one. They conveniently offer a 3 year warranty for most other items but conveniently only 2 years on these switches. Do not buy if you live somewhere with a lot of sun unless you plan to repurchase them every 2.5 years.
