Sand Timer - 1 Minute, Blue

The 1 minute times turned out to be an infinity timer. The sand consistently clogs so you have to keep tapping the timer in-order to keep the sand running. The best thing I can say for it is it looks good setting on a shelf.

If this were at least 100% larger and had "real sand", it would be a wonderful product. I love the idea of a sand timer that's entirely encased in a hard, clear and virtually unbreakable acrylic/plastic and this has a very attractive design. I bought it as a simple toy/stocking stuffer for one of my 3 kids. No one takes any interest in it. It's too small. It takes very close observation to even see the sand moving, there's not much sand in it, and the sand inside is so finely textured that the "drama" of watching the hourglass run out is lost.

This timer is really small, but seems to be very durable. We've had this for about a year now, and it doesn't show any signs of breaking. I really like that its a solid cylinder, with the hourglass timer inside. However, it doesn't seem to be very reliable on the time. Its not consistent, and sometimes the sand will stop all together, and will require a gentle shake to get it moving again. Even when the sand continues to move the entire time, I haven't gotten 3 minutes out of it - usually its around 2 minutes 45 seconds. If I could find something this size and build, but with an accurate, reliable timer, it would be perfect.

A nice timer; although it runs a bit fast, about 1minute38secends(ish), and is a bit on the small side so you'll need to set it at eye level to see the sand well. Has not clogged once in the month we've been using it.

A "Must Have" handy timer that serves in a variety of applications . . . use it in the kitchen, the bathroom, at the breakfast or dinner table . . . it is sturdy, yet classy, and will serve as a reminder without the noise of an electronic timer. Useful for all ages 3 and up.

Unfortunately this is not 1 minute. It is more like 40 seconds at most. It's a shame because it is much nicer than the plain clear plastic/cheaper ones that I'll have to now spend more money on.

This is a cool looking timer but small- about 2 or 3 inches tall. It also is not 3 minutes. I bought 2-one is 1 min, 20 sec and the other is 1 min. Disappointed, but it was cheap, so I guess that's what I get for a couple bucks.

Gave it to my daughter for Xmas and she really like it... Cute little thing, pretty color, worked very well...
