Perfect size for my Steinberger Spirit 5STR, internal soft padding all around and has a short velcro strap inside to hold your instruments neck in place. Comes with a comfortable adjustable shoulder strap which clips on via metal clips to three eyelets on either end of the bag, the zips feel sturdy and run freely when zipping/unzipping without catching along the length of material on the inside. There's also a handy phone pouch on the shoulder strap which is ideal for smaller phones, however its not a suitable fit for a Samsung S3, I tried.Great for traveling, and conveniently fits in overhead compartments during flights.Zip pocket is big enough to hold a couple of sets of strings and a medium length guitar cable and the material feels like it wont tear under the weight of the instrument, looks great and feels like my bass is safely guarded from the cushioning.One thing that could've made this perfect is if there was a thicker layer of padding at the bottom of the bag so the strap buttons on my bass didn't feel as though they were going to punch through when I rested it standing vertical, so what I did was use a soft winter pillow case (the semi-fluffy ones) rolled and fitted it around the bottom of my gig bag so the bass body and strap buttons had something soft inside to sit on.Besides that, its a great gig bag.EDIT 8 September 2013:After three months, the seam lining at the bottom of the bag started to split around the corner and has left a bit of a hole there, weak stitching probably, my expectations on how long this bag would last were totally wrong where I was hoping it would for a longer period, The rest of the bag is still in tact, but the stitching, so sadly 1 rate point lost.

A quality gig bag that fits a Steinberger bass is not the easiest thing to find these days! This is very well padded and constructed, the shoulder strap system is excellent and the pocket is nice and big. There is a cell phone pocket on the strap but, it's too small for a smart phone.

The handle should be moved back towards the bridge so its balanced, but other than that, this is the best gig bag for a Steinberger.

This is the best Gig bag i"ve ever owned....very compact...my Steinberger Bass Guitar fits great in it.I"ve had 3 before this one and they all felt as if I had dropped my guitar I would of cried.Its worth the price

I was looking for a bag to fit a 30" scale headless travel Bass. They're tough to find!This is a really nice bag. It has a good sized zippered pocket on the outside for storage of accessories. Inside, I really like the Velcro strap that "locks" the neck in place. Plus, it has a nice plush lining to protect your instrument.I definitely recommend this case to people needing a specialized case for a special Bass.
