Givi EA118 Tank Bag

Works OK, snaps in and out quick as advertised.Not very big, fairly small inside. When unlocked to fill gas, it falls to side and you have to be very careful not to scratch your tank.Inhibits handle bar mounted objects like a ram cell phone mount. Can't see it anymore.Need a tank bag but...personally I think it has a lot to do with the cycle design itself, more than the 'solutions' designed to fit it. Tank bags work great on superhawk, bandit, sprint and others. Multi? Think I may switch to a tail bag as I prioritize GPS and map access/viewing over being able to change out sunglasses or reach for a smoke

The media could not be loaded.  You're gonna have to change the bolts that are going to gas reservoir cap. I like the bag but I hate when I cannot do something right away then I take day or two with customizing some thing before mounting new partsUpdate: bought some bolts and washers, and mount it. Couldnt find stainless steal bolts, so I took regulars before I find them. On my bike bolts are M5 - 30mm long factory one. I took M5 - 35mm long, so 5mm longer and firs perfect.Bag looks awesome so Mowing to 4 stars, but not 5 bcs GIVI should provide this bolts.

The system is ok, there is a "safety strap" however that I'm not sure about. If this is supposed to be quick release that strap really defeats the purpose. The bag itself is nice and roomy and comes with a plastic stiffner to help it keep its shape. The zippers on the smaller pockets are garbage. They're tiny and have these really cheesey pulls that I know will not last. It's too bad, Givi used to be built well. This is my first Givi tank bag and it will be my last.

Purchased for 2016 BMW GSA for fall tour from NC to KY. The GIVI tank lock makes it super easy to take bag on and off during fuel up. Has enough space to store extra such as sunglasses, clavas, seasonal gloves, maps, garage door opener, chargers, cables, flashlights, tools, air pump, and so on. Everything is easily in reach for quick access. Zippers and material construction seem robust. Bag comes with a rain cover and a security strap that goes around the frame but honestly the tank lock mechanism seems very robust and secure. The map pocket will fit a normal height map, extra tall tuffy maps won’t fit in the pocket.

Great fast removable tank bag. Straps to hold the tank bag secured at the front defeats the fast removable when you refuel so I simply cut the straps off. Had a slow speed slide in the ditch on a gravel road and no problem with the bag. Definitely good quality materials used. No leaks in a moderate rain shower. Only issue is that on my BMW R1250 GSA it rubs on the fuel tank so I will put a tank protector there. Have not had that problem with the same bag on my R1200GS so it seems likely it’s because of the shape and size of th Adventure fuel tank. Very happy with its build and usefulness.

I added this to my Yamaha FJR 1300 and it fit and function is fantastic. I put my garage door opener in front pocket and cell phone in left side pocket. I put my sunscreen, water bottle, heated gloves, hat and reading glasses etc in main pocket. It removes easily for fueling up and I can take it into restaurants and hotels or when I cant keep an eye on it.

I’ve owned one of these bags before. Very happy with quality and appearance. I like the way the tank- lock feature works. The bag removes quickly and easily to facilitate fueling. I don’t think Givi uses the term “waterproof” in the product description but mine has been thru several hard rains and the bag contents remained dry. There is an included stretch over rain cover for riding in sustained hard rain.

I put the bag on a 2018 BMW R1200RT . It is a perfect fit and looks great.

The Tanklock fixing system is so much better than bases with straps or magnetic bags that I have tried previously. Very simple to fit and very easy to operate. There is much less chance of damage to the tank. The bag itself is very well made. Has many technical features such as grab handle and shoulder strap for carrying away from the bike. Excellent clear top for roadmaps and travel notes. Plenty of pockets for phones, visor cleaner, wallet, spare keys, disc lock and all the stuff you need to hand when touring.Main compartment expands and has a useful 25l capacity. A great bit of kit from Givi.

Great product, easy to fit and remove although the clip might be a bit awkward when your hands are freezing cold in the winter. Enough room internally for essentials and found the external pockets super useful. For me, the clear pouch on the top was no good for using smart device to view maps as it leaned forward too much so I just couldn't see the display at all. With a paper map it would be great though.

Bought to replace the need for a Rucksack to commute to work. fits perfectly and does not move. Just the right size for all my needs.

Great value and well made fits on the tank and also the rear seat with givi seat plate. Good size for weekend away.
