My boy, Bogie, a B&G Macaw, needed something special for his daytime play area. Durable....cute... Cost Effectve!! Thank you Amazon for your quick, accurate delivery in such a timely manner. It is perfect...any my boy truly tests out all his toys...it passed w flying colors. WE LOVE IT!!!!!

It's large, thick, pliable, and long. Of course, my cockatoo ignored it because nothing beats a cardboard box to chew up but she is perching on it. I haven't seen her do it but I hear the bell jingle. She will pay more attention once the cardboard box is confetti. I've had these before and she did eventually chew it up and expose the wire underneath so that is when I removed it. This is a nice, affordable addition to her cage.

Very durable. Good width for a medium to large bird (ex. Amazon,hawk headed parrot, mini macaw, pionus, african grey). Easy to bend and re position. Birds being on it doesnt seem to bend it much. When the bottom isn’t attached to something, there is some swaying/bouncing. When the bottom is attached to a bar, there is very little bouncing and no swaying.Seems to withstand some chewing on pretty well. No frays quite yet and one of my birds has been using it as their chew toy as opposed to their actual toys.If you plan on connecting the top and bottom, you will need to buy/have some toy hanger clips on hand.

This is a great toy for a large bird who loves to chew stuff. We are on the 2nd one and our Cockatoo loves it and spends hours grabbing and cutting into the heavy rope. She likes to rip into the fiber, as an instinct to make nesting material. it is the perfect toy to keep birds occupied, flexible and very sturdy. If she didn’t have this she would be eating more furniture...good product and will buy again...want to also try a smaller version for her travel cage

Pierre, my U2 loves his Boinga Boingas. He usually chews them up in a couple weeks, but I’m trying to make him understand that he’s only hurting himself. His current one is doing pretty good; I think it’s about 3 months old now. That is awesome! When he did chew them to death, I would wrap them with stretchy gauze &/or turn it upside down to get more use out of it. After having my brat bird for 11 yrs, he is finally gettin’ it; if I chew on it, Mama takes it away & I do not like that! HaHa!

Its big! But if you have room for it, my sun conure absolutely loves it. He always goes over to bounce on it to make the bell ring. I have only had it for a few days but he hasn't manage to fray or pull apart any of the threads yet. I will update if the durability turns out to be an issue.

Have in large flight cage. One of the parakeets is usually on it during the day and another will sleep on it at night.It’s made for big birds but my parakeets like the thicker rope also.

These are great boings with 3/4" rope and a good colour. My African greys love them , even Zamu who is usually afraid of new toys for awhile , went on it right away. I searched for months for just the right ones and I am very pleased with these.

Love that there was no smell to it. Easy to make what ever shape you want. Thick, long, and seems really good quality. I had more fun with it so far than my budgie but my budgie is picky and takes a while before she gets used to new things. Great if your bird isn't caged like mine. The only thing I would improve is to have the bell be able to be removed for another latch so you can make it longways.

It's smaller and thinner than expected. I was surprised to find that it was malleable but it's a good thing! It holds its shape really well. I haven't used it for my birds yet but so far it's pretty nice.
