SUNWAYFOTODDY-64iL Long Handle Discal Disc Clamp Arca/RRS Compatible 64mm Sunway

Can't say enough good things about this company--quality products at very reasonable prices!This disc clamp goes perfectly with the Sunwayfoto leveling base (SUNWAYFOTO DYH-66i DYH66i 66mm Tripod Leveling Base with Offset Bubble Level Sunway I originally bought the DDY-64i, but its handle is not long enough to use with the DYH-66i. I'm consistently impressed with the fit and finish of Sunwayfoto's products relative to their pricing. While Kirk, Really Right Stuff, and other similar companies put out really nice products, their prices are too high IMHO. Sunwayfoto fills the niche of quality vs price quite nicely and this clamp is yet another example.

Handle longer than expected. Interferes with Fuji 16-55 f2.8 lens. Must use sticking out towards the back where it is easy to catch.

I got this to "arca-ize' my venerable Leitz Tiltall tripod (from New Jersey, when tripods had mass!) So now it's up to date. The clamp is very well done, looks great on the Tiltall.

Absolutely what I needed and appears to be very good quality. Very smooth opening and closing and very secure when clamped. I put this on a Stackshot macro rail and it is exactly what I needed. FYI, holes are 50mm apart.

Mine was defective, and would get stuck shut. I strongly preferred the Desmond version to this, but needed the long handle.

Excellent tool, at a fraction of the cost of other similar items. Great company, would buy again and have bought other items from this company.

In general, you can expect Sunwayfoto gear to provide excellent quality and good functionality at a good price relative to the High Quality, High Price leader...Really Right Stuff (RRS). They provide smooth movements and durability. That said, always check the sunwayfoto websites for the latest interations of their products. They have been upgrading and improving models very quickly and it would be easy to get the older models without the improvements.The model reviewed here is the DDY-64iL. The 'i' seems to be the latest iteration and the 'L' stands for long handle on the knob. You want both in most cases. The short handle basically had no stem and could get hidden under camera plates and L-Brackets of certain designs.My one complaint on this product is the relatively short jaw length of the clamp itself. It appears to be somewhere about 30mm long. This is an arbitrary length as the width of the base is over 60mm long. If you look at an RRS panning clamp (http://www.dentonimages.com/img/pcl1b.jpg), for example, the jaws run all the way across the surface. In most applications the short jaw length isn't an issue, but if you are putting a nodal slide or other rail into the jaws and cantilevering a lot of weight on the end, then a 50 or 60mm jaw would give more support and peace of mind.

If you need a distal clamp, this is an excellent model. It was exactly what I needed to mate to a Sunwayfoto DYH-66i Leveling Base.

ハスキー三脚で使用するために購入しました。色んなクランプのレビューを見て、雲台のコルクシートと干渉しないクランプを探してましたら、このクランプに辿り着きました。ほとんど干渉無く使用でき満足しています。

SUNWAYFOTOやSWFOTOのクランプは、以前より何種類か使用していますので、質感や剛性に問題がないことは確認済みです。今回はNodal Ninja EZ-レベラーIIとインデックスローターを容易に組み立てやすくするために導入しました。本商品も品質に問題なく、ノブが長いことから下にくるEZレベラー、上に取り付けるインデックスローターに干渉せずとても使いやすいです。用途が上記のようなパノラマ撮影で考えていますので、重量級でかつ負荷のかかるような使用にはなりませんが、クランプの幅が前後ともに横いっぱいまであれば、安心感が増します。あくまでも気持ちの問題かもしれませんが。また、私は3,000円程度（送料無料）で購入しましたが、SUNWAYFOTOやSWFOTOの価格は日によってバラツキが大きいため、倍ぐらいする価格で且つ送料3,000円などの購入はお勧めしません。

追記します。以前のレビュー通りに機能は問題ありません。ただノブの形状がゴツいので、指が痛いです。冬の悴んだ指だとさらに痛くて回せません。屋外ではグローブ無しでは使えないでしょう現在は他のメーカーからも安くて良い形状の物が出ているので、このクランプをリピートする事は無いです。ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー以前のレビューSUNWAYFOTOのクランプは3つ目です。最初にDDC-60X、次にDDC-60Lです。どちらも造りには満足ですが、HUSKY 3Dなどの大きな雲台では裏側の稼働部やノブの根元が干渉して正常な動きが出来ません。仕方無いので影響の少ない雲台を選んで使っていました。その点でこのDDY-64iLは裏側に稼働部の露出が無く、ノブの根元も干渉しません。HUSKY 3Dや他の色んな雲台で使えます。ひとつ残念な点はプレートを挟み込む爪の幅が短い事。この構造のまま四角くて爪の長いモデルがあれば良いのですが。まぁ価格とのバランスは良いので、そのうちに追加で購入するつもりです。

ハスキー雲台に、マンフロット410ギア雲台にぴったりでした。4つのプレートとは、しっかり固定できました。あとは耐久性。
