Excellent Guitar for the price
And it looks like a Gibson, Like any new guitar it takes a day or two to get it to hold the tune. I found no defects or blimishes, The only thinbg I have notive with the sound is a small rattle when letting some chords ring. The neck is a little wider than my Les Paul-100, but is still easy to play. You cannot beat this price for a hollow body guitar, and to be honest I was skeptical after reading other reviews, but this guitar is more than woth the money for a beginner or a seasoned player. The youtube video is what gave me the incentive to make the purchase. What a cool axe.

No Quality Control - Multiple problems out of the box.
This guitar is terrible. This is how it went down.Amazon as usual fulfills their end of the deal and quickly delivers the guitar. I pulled it out of the box and the high e string broke with touch. OK, just a string so no big deal. I was going to change them anyways. So, I take the strings off and the guitar nut falls on the floor. It was not even secured onto the guitar. Hmmm, this wasn't starting good but oh well. I glued it in and restrung with top of the line strings. The first thing I noticed was that the pick guard was looking rough even though the guitar was brand new. I'm not sure if someone had been playing it at a shop somewhere or what the deal was. I removed the pick guard because it was an extremely cheap looking plastic anyway (almost like cheap toy grade).I plug the guitar in and it was apparent that there was zero quality control or prior set up because there was massive fret buzz all over the guitar. I raised the action which got rid of most of it but it still had really bad fret buzz on the low e string even after set up.The fit and finish is terrible on this guitar. There are dried drips of lacquer/plastic around the cut out on the body (hanging off the bottom edge), there are areas where the body and neck meet that are unpainted or under painted and as I had mentioned before the nut was not even secured onto the guitar. The knob posts are about 1/3" too high and the knobs simply sit on top of the posts leaving a 1/3" gap between the bottom of the knob and the surface of the guitar. The dagger in the heart was the wiring. the wires were not even secured on the inside of the guitar. and twisting the bridge volume nob causes bad static through the amplifier. It also cuts in and out when adjusting the volume like it's shorting out.So, I would say all and all this is a one star max guitar. If there is any redeeming quality it's that the pickups are not half bad when they are not being shorted by the careless wiring job. I definitely would save your money.

Great Guitar
I took this guitar to a gig at a club and received dozens of compliments from fellow musicians and audience members; it's cool when you have something that no one else has, they all want to know where you got it and how much it costs.

I recommend not getting this guitar
The neck is so badly warped that all the strings buzz all the way up the neck and is generally unplayable. I have ordered the tools to fix it and those cost about $80. I recommend not getting this guitar, I have bought low end $99 guitars from Dean that play great--I recommend purchasing one of those instead. This guitar is so dark, that it looks black--not like how it looks in the picture. So that's my 2 cents.
