I received a copy of this great book, and just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it! My library holds just about every QDB book ever written along with an almost complete set of Rare Coin Reviews, etc.. It never ceases to amaze me how QDB can make you feel like he is there speaking with you! While only 138 pages, there is SO much information in this book, that everyone could benefit from reading it, and certainly, anyone would enjoy reading it. The "recommended reading" pages are great and cover every series. You probably won't find that kind of information anywhere else. I love the fact that QDB not only pushes knowledge and information, but also tells you where you can get that information. He packs in so much information into this book.....this is a MUST read for anyone looking to buy rare coins. I love his discussion of eye appeal. This is often overlooked, especially by the novice collector, and it is of HUGE importance. I also like his mention of some of the more notable collections/collectors of the past! Buy this book BEFORE you buy a coin!

A great book for either a novice collector or someone who has been collecting for a long time. The history included in the book is a nice bonus

More for the American market than rest of the world. But interesting if you collect America coins.
