I can't speak to the accuracy of this little guy, but it was worth every penny given that it ended our household's most acrimonious war over what temperature was necessary to keep the top floor comfortable. Instead of arguing over whether or not those of us on the top floor were lying as to how much of the stifling summer heat was making its way inside through the poorly-insulated windows, we can just show the screen readout of 85+ degrees (fahrenheit) and 50% humidity to successfully lobby for the crucial four degrees necessary to ensure that the AC kicks on often enough to keep the space livable. Which makes this just about the most valuable item I've ever purchased on this horrible website.

So, for the price this is a nice little device. It's easy to read and seems to have an accurate read-out of the temp and humidity.I'm living in a place where I don't have a direct thermostat, so I wanted to know how hot & dry exactly is it with the winter heat running.The reason I'm giving this a 4 is there's something about the way this thing is weighted/shaped that doesn't balance well. It's got a little kickstand and it stands up, fine but whenever I reach to pick it up to look at it closer, I've often dropped it on the floor. FYI, I'm not a clumsy person or anyone prone to drop things AT ALL, so there's something flawed about the design of this thing. I think it's the rounded edges and the fact that the kickstand is so light compared to the weight of the face - it falls forward and tumbles out of the hand.So far, it hasn't broken (about 5-6 drops) but I think it's only a matter of time until one of the drops damages it...But for now, it's served its purpose at a very reasonable price.

I bought my first meter about a year ago, and just bought my second one recently. I thought it was unusual that my first one was reading quite high for humidity at all times. Not sure if having the mist get around the meter 24/7 maybe created this problem? But there is about 15-20% difference in humidity between my first and second meter. Both temps are within 0.5 point difference in the same area, which is not too bad. I think the erroneous reading is the first one. These are cheap, so theyre easy to replace. I had serious doubts when the first meter read 99% humidity! Theyre quite small but the numbers can be easily read under good lighting. All in all, good for the price you pay initially.

My vehicle A/C does not seem to cool sufficiently. In order to have a credible argument with the dealership, I purchased this reasonably priced thermometer. It is well constructed, easy to use and very accurate.

Temperature is pretty on point, but if you are getting this for your plants to check the humidity level like I am, then you will see it’s off...

As others have commented, it's smaller than it appears in the photos. It runs on a thin watch-type wafer battery (CR2032). I've had it for a few days and it seems pretty accurate for a low-cost device. Its readings compares well with a few other thermometer / humidity gauges I have in the house. Either they're all wrong it it's doing alright. Great value. I just may buy a few more.

The thermometer readings on this match the readings on the thermostat in my house, but the humidity readings are 20 percent lower than my two other humidity gauges I have. I therefore recommend buying this for temperature, but NOT for humidity.

Just what I wanted and expected. Accurate to the 10th of the degree. Out of the box, you pull a tab out to activate the battery, and you're good to go anywhere. About the size of a box of Tic-Tacs!

It was smaller than I expected, but works fine none the less. The hook hole on the back of it is a little bit useless, as it’s so small even the smallest hook I had was too big for it. I just ended up bluetacking it to the wall. It accurately shows temperature and humidity and is easy to swap from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

It's okay cause it works. But the magnet is not strong enough to hold it's weight on its own.

I ordered two of these. Both were faulty. The temperature was off 8 degrees! I took it outside on a hot day and the reading barely changed.

Used for humidity reading for spray painting, small compact, easy to read.
