Replaced cheap dog crate latch
Wooden dog crate came with a terrible latch, didn’t last 6 months. Removed and replaced with this, still going strong.

Sturdy but
The lock works OK. It is a bit sturdy however it is difficult if you are not applying it to a door with a even wall structure most doors have a curved wall structure.

Exactly what I needed!
Exactly what I need it for the outside of my teenager's doors. My two older children has a major issue with my three younger children (ages 4, 5, & 6) always going into their rooms when you're not home and messing with their stuff. So we decided to buy these locks and put them on the outside of the doors up high so it's a little ones cannot reach it. And it works great and for the price of it I would definitely recommend if anybody needs to keep somebody out of a room.

Have not installed the latch yet, but upon initial visual, the lock seemed a lot smaller than the photo of it online portrayed. I was somewhat disappointed. But as I say, once installed, it might make me feel better about my security.

Great Value for simple use locks
Easy to install and use. It keeps things locked. There's not much to say other than that. I have had this on my door for quite a while, and it's still holding up just fine with no issues. You can probably find something cheaper in the store, but for the convenience of not having to leave your home, it was an easy buy for me.

It works
My 4yo was constantly going into the closet to get toys yet never played with them, leaving my living room to look like a toy monster threw up. I fixed his wagon. This lock is why my living room is somewhat clean lol. My husband had no issues installing.
