Bought this for my Irish Terrier puppy girl, Fiona. She loves it as I also do. This is our third Irish Terrier and that breed requires hand stripping to maintain their coat. The breed is a medium sized dog at a 26# adult weight that is very spirited. In the past for our other dogs I had a home made setup that was just adequate so decided to treat my pup and me to a new table.My pup loves the table and immediately was very relaxed on it. I like the ability to use a haunch strap as well as neck restraint as terrier puppies get can a bit jumpy and/or want to sit when you don't want them to ;-)It is a heavy table...about 40# but very solid so the dog doesn't feel any unsteady support. It is a bit oversized for my dog but makes it easy to put her in position for ease of access. The under table storage rack is handy for getting equipment out of the way when not being used. The harness support is held by adjustable clamps and easily removed so the table folds flat for storage. I lean it against my garage wall for storage.My dog is light but for a heavy dog you may find it difficult to get the dog on the table. There are tables with automatic lifts, etc. but those are for professional use and very expensive. Perhaps a ramp or step stool would help those heavy dogs....but be careful lifting a big dog.....lifting a dead weight is one thing but one that is squirming around can be a recipe for a back injury and possibly an injured pet.I don't know how the table will work for those dogs that were bathed and you want to dry them on the table....but the top is sealed on both sides....rubberized on top and a wood grain material on the other side. Normally Irish Terriers aren't bathed before grooming.The latch mechanism for the legs seems to work fine also.Overall it seems to be an excellent table for my non professional use. A very tall dog might need a higher maximum bracket height for the harness cross bar. But for my pup and lager when she is an adult it will be ideal.

Perfect table for beginners. It is very sturdy. Comes already assembled but just have to lock the folding legs in place. The bar that comes with it is easy to add to the table and easy to take off. Folding the table away is very easy. Oh and when using the table it does not slide around. I have to lift the table move it because the bottom stoppers are firm. I hope this help you in your decision. I have a miniature schnauzer 18 pounds. If you have a golden retriever get a bigger table.Length: a little over 3 1/2 feet almost 4feetWide/width 2feet exactlyFrom the floor to the top of the table is 2 1/2 feetThe bar adjust to different height levels so any height can use this table. Easy loosing the screw and adjust and retighten.I’m 6’1” and I can groom without the need to bend. I can also sit in a chair for more comfort.This table was a perfect buy for me

Arrived today-ahead of schedule. This grooming table is great so far. My 60lb husky refuses to stay still and let me groom his hairy butt-he always sits down and doesn’t let me get to it. The noose on the back of the table holds him up tightly but I didn’t find that he was uncomfortable. I suggest putting your pet on the top of the table, attaching the noose to their head, and then putting their legs through the noose on the back last. Also, please do not leave your dog alone, I was really scared my dog would jump and hang himself. So please be mindful!This table is heavy, but extremely sturdy. I plan on bathing, drying, and brushing my dogs hair on this table to save my back and energy. I do not regret purchasing this bad boy of a table!

I should have listened to my husband. He was concerned that this table would be too short and it turns out he was right. After using it on our two dogs I regret not getting a taller table. I'm 5' 8" tall and had to bend over way too much, and I even ended up getting on my knees to save my back. My husband (who thankfully is not one to say "I told you so") got right to work crafting an 8" tall base for it. He used 4" X 4" and 2" X 4" lumber we had on hand. Now with the table on the base it is perfect! If you are anywhere near my height or taller I would suggest looking for a taller table. That is my only complaint though, the height. If it had only been a little bit too short it would not matter. But again, we needed to add 8" to bring it up to a comfortable height and I'm only 5' 8" tall. The table itself is very nice. Very sturdy and does not wobble. We have all small 15 lb dogs and the generous table size allows me to set the clippers and combs off towards the end while the dog is secured in the middle with the two straps. Although the tops says it's anti slip it's not. Both dogs slipped on it and we ended up putting a bath mat with a non slip backing on top for them. Easy enough solution, but still, wish the "anti slip" top had really been anti slip.

Table seems quite sturdy. Table top texture gives my dog decent traction (unlike the hard laminate floors in the room, which he skates on). The table feels stable with or without the dog on it.I think we got our money’s worth, but note that this is an inexpensive table. The trapeze is probably adequate, but the plastic brackets are more flexible than I might have hoped. The included lassoes are cheap and unintuitive. Assembly instructions are minimal, and no instructions are included as to its safe use. Trapeze bar is only 33” above the table top, not as high as I would like for a large dog. The removable tray under the table is cheap and does not fit all that well. I had to bend its hangars into shape with pliers to install them.
