A Must-Have for Road Trips & Potty Training!
This portable potty has been a lifesaver! It works great for both boys and girls—I’ve used it for my 3-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son during long road trips when there’s no restroom for hours. It’s also come in handy when a restroom was out of service, and my daughter needed to go.If you’re potty training or travel frequently with little ones, this is a must-have. It’s easy to use, clean, and so convenient for emergencies. I never take a trip without it!

Easy and Convenient!
My newly potty trained 3 year old daughter loves this. We do a lot of hiking and most places we go don’t have bathrooms. At first I would have her wear a diaper when we went hiking and tell her to just go. Then I realized this was just confusing her. Wasn’t sure how she would like using this but she found it very easy to use. I can just throw it back into my hiking pack and it doesn’t leak out at all. Such a life saver to keep with you. Small enough that it doesn’t take up much room in bags.

Must Have for Potty Training Boys
My husband scoffed when I told him I bought this, but after the third time pulling over to stop and pee outside for our potty-training 3 yo (on a 15 minute drive home), I knew it would come in handy! Now, we're able to park, unbuckle our son, and he's able to stand in the back seat and use this, and get back into his car seat, all without getting opening any doors. It's much easier and safer! The little ears make it so he's able to hold it himself, and it makes him exited and gives him autonomy. I honestly think it's part of the reason the potty training finally stuck. That's a bold claim, but our little one was super stubborn and this helped. It's also been really nice to keep handy when we're out. We don't have to use it that often, but just this past weekend at the park we were too far from a bathroom and I created a barrier with a blanket and my kiddo was able to go and I didn't have to worry about accidents. It's kind of a pain to clean without getting your hands dirty though. The inner funnel has to be removed in order to dump and you will get pee on you. I just accept it wash well and figure it's better when I'm expecting it rather than a surprise. We haven't had any issues with leaking and keep it in the car for car rides and take it with us for big adventures like zoo trips or long park days.

Great for potty training & longer car trips after potty trained.
We originally purchased this for potty training & it works great, especially when you are in a pinch to get to a potty before they can’t hold it any longer & an accident might happen...car rides to anywhere, longer car rides, festivals, zoo, museum, amusement & water parks, neighborhood & city parks, the mall...it stayed in my purse even when I stopped carrying a diaper bag. It’s pretty easy to discretely pull down elastic waist bottoms in the front just enough to put all the privates into the elephant trunk. I had to even do this once when the women’s restroom was being cleaned at a Walmart & my son was too young to go into the men’s restroom alone. We just went into a corner near the restroom & took out the elephant. He was not then exposed in a public place & anyone that saw us with the elephant into to his pants made a comment about how genius it was or wishing that it was available when their kid grew up. You do have to unscrew the top off to empty, because the funnel in to prevents urine from spilling out (along with the front closure of the “trunk”) so you cannot just simply pour out with the top on. This is convenient though for putting it back into the car or purse & feel confident that it will not spill out & have you or your vehicle smelling like urine. My son is now 4 & just recently I dug it out & put it in the car for longer trips, again. One day we took a 3 hour road trip & he asked for the “elephant” when we were in the middle of nowhere & could not find a place to stop to use the restroom. He said he could not hold it any longer & had already leaked a bit. I had to pull over & let him be one with nature. Yes, he is a boy & it’s easy for him urinate on the side of any road in an emergency, however I am trying to teach him that you can’t just do this whenever & wherever you want. That is for emergencies only & he should use the elephant when he can (and why it got put back into the car). We let him go outside in the backyard at home, but one day he pulled his pants down at a neighborhood park to urinate. I want him to understand this is NOT ok. It’s not safe from predators & I want to teach him to have better manners than pulling over on the side of the road to urinate when he is much older.

My 3rd purchase the spout lid breaks off
This is my 4rd purchase. After a year or two the hing of the spout's lid breaks off. It's a great purchase otherwise. I encourage other moms to buy it. My 8 year old nolonger needs my help to use it. He uses it on his own. It's easy to clean, no tiny pieces to deal with. I've not experienced leakage. Perfect for road trips and trips to the park.

Love Love Love
This portable potty has been one of the best purchases I have ever made. Works great when your little one has to go and you are not near a restroom.

You need this. Really.
You may think to yourself this is a stupid purchase. I don't need a portable urinal in the shape of an elephant. Let me assure you mom-doomscrolling-Amazon-with-freshly-potty-trained-kiddo. You. Do. This beautiful piece of equipment has saved us twice on our first road trip with our newly diaperless son. I would pay any amount of money. Easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to pack away in the car. Bonus points for him thinking the trunk is hilarious. No regrets, would do again. I imagine this will serve us for quite some time. Just ignore me sending links to this to every mom friend with toddler I know.
