Perfect fit for double din (the big screen type) stereo in 2008 Toyota Highlander. Husband installed system without issues - watched YouTube videos for instructions on how to install. Great deal. Much less than “free” installation at mobile audio stores. Their free install requires you buy all “special” parts for your vehicle which would have been about $150. We did it ourselves and was about $30-35 with the tools we ordered and this faceplate and wires. Highly recommend.

Good option for aftermarket stereos without needing to remove the factory bracket. Fitting isn't perfect but it allows a slight wiggle room to allow stereo to fit.

Based on some reviews, we were expecting to have to do some modifications to install this with a double din stereo. But that wasn't the case. We installed this in our 2009 highlander and it was a smooth seemless fit. Installation had no issues and it looks really nice! Highly recommend. It's sturdy and high quality for the price, and I'm picky. =)

Great value. This adapter does not include the new mounting brackets that would be required without my adaptation shown in the photo for double din screens with single din bodies

The flasher button such clips into this plate does not fit well and is loose when installed into this plate. Also. The shape of the hole for the doubledDin gets in the way of operation of small buttons on the sides of the screen. Additionally, this kit comes with no brackets. Modification needed to underlying bracketry to get head unit to sit flush with this adaptor plate.

Easy to clip on but make sure you center the radio

I used this to install a double DIN radio into my car. This was, by far, the easiest and best part of the installation. It's a little bland but it fills the space in my 2009 Highlander with no modifications necessary. Positioning the radio height wise is the trickiest part, but that's just a matter of loosening the mounting bolts and re-positioning that. Once that's squared, this goes in without needing any tools. Pops in, pops out.
