Great DHA for vegan pr plant based people. A friend also liked as it was one of the few she did not get sick taking.

I have slowly amassed several vitamins from this company. My midwife had a short list of recommended companies and this was one that was on her list. I use their prenatal vitamin, probiotics, and now their Vegan Prenatal DHA. I am a vegetarian, so I love that it's vegan. For my first pregnancy I didn't use a vegan version and it left me "burping" up a fishy taste - and my neausous stomach simply could not take it. This has never caused that. Love the ingredient list (what's in there as well as what's not). Will continue to use beyond pregnancy.

I'll be honest I was a bit skeptical at first to try this DHA. I've purchased similar pills before that claimed not to have the fishy odor/taste which may have been true but the aftertaste and foul burps OMG especially while pregnant. Well thankfully I didn't experience any of that with this supplement. The only slight drawback for me is that you have to take two a day but given the small size and how easy they are to swallow I really don't mind. This nurse and mom of soon to be four kiddos highly recommends!

I like these because they are vegan and easy to swallow. Nothing fishy. My issue is the bottle is almost 3x bigger than it needs to be. I know how many pills are inside, it says right there, I know how many days it covers, it says in the description. I don't know what their game is with making the bottle so big, but it's really just a nuisance. I have to pack my prenatals for a couple of trips and its so annoying how much space they take up. I had to buy a bigger medicine bag to fit this in, and it's just so unnecessary. I can't just pack them in a plastic baggy or something because traveling to a foreign country that requires pill be in the original bottle.

I love this brand

I've tried other omega supplements before and am surprisingly very happy with this one. The pills were small and easy to swallow. There's no fishy smell or aftertaste. The instructions say to take with food, but the one that I didn't take with food, they did not make my stomach hurt. I've also noticed some of the effects already, such as growing nails and less-achy joints. I would definitely recommend, and plan to continue purchasing throughout my pregnancy and beyond.

I love this vegan dha. I don’t taste anything at all from the softgels. No smell either. I am not pregnant right now but I know how important it is that some things don’t have a smell or taste because it can make you nauseous. I know the benefits to taking this dha and after trying several brands of different kinds of dha I really like this one. Plus I trust this brand and like their other products.

Sure, these don’t necessarily give you that “fishy” burp that come with most DHA supplements. But they DO come with flavorful burps. The best way I can describe it, is that it reminds me of the smell at the penguin exhibit at the zoo. Not necessarily fishy… but ocean-y. It is GROSS, and happens even when I take them with a full meal. I am very glad I didn’t start these before 20 weeks pregnant, because they would have definitely made me vomit! 3 stars though for the ingredients.
