I prefer wheels that have more grip than slide but enough slip to let me dance around well. I also like to go fast with the kids from time to time as well and these are a great all around wheel. Too slippery for my liking on the only wood floor I skate occasionally but still manageable. Wear is consistent with a couple rotations after a fall/winter/spring of at least two sessions per week.

These wheels are great for soft surfaces, like a well maintained rink. You can tell they're not the highest quality, but for the price it's exactly what I needed. If you're looking to just get a nice pair of starter wheels for rink or dance skating, these are great. You'll get the feel for what kind of diameter and durometer you prefer without going broke finding out. I've only had them for a month or so I'm not sure how long they'll last, but that's not really the primary concern when you're buying cheap. Overall, they're totally reliable and skateable.

Maybe if you are a beginner, these wheels are sticky and would help you not to slide on the hardwood surface.

These wheels usually fly under the radar in the skate community because they aren't expensive but they have just the right amount of grip I like for JB skate style. They last long too!

I use these at the skate park and I have no complaints so far
