Thomas & Friends Motorized Toy Train, Emily

My son is obsessed with any “Thomas” toy. They are all good and sturdy toys, even if the children are rough with them. Some are a little over priced, Emily was a reasonable price.

Emily is a well-made addition of the line of Thomas & Friends engine. She chugs along sturdily on her battery-operated motor, and the bright gold accents on her green paint job make her pretty. I love the story of Emily: "She became fascinated with Caitlin being able to go at such high speeds and wondered what it would be like to be fast, becoming depressed when she could not do so. However, in the end, she managed to save Caitlin when she descended down a steep hill with broken brakes." (Caitlin is my granddaughter's name and we're still looking for a copy of that engine in the Track Master's size.) Fisher Price toys are always well made and offer great play value, and this train is no exception.

Bought for my kid’s birthday since his current interest in toys revolves around Thomas & Friends. Did not include the 2 batteries required to make it work but was not an issue since I keep a giant pack of batteries just to keep a fleet of these toy trains running. This item works as designed and appears to be made of quality materials. No issues.

I ordered this for my 2 year old grandson for Christmas. He hardly ever lets it out of his hand! It is so cute and durable. He puts it through its paces to. Occupies his time. He really loves it. I actually ordered several of the other trains for him. He is obsessed!!!!

Love T&F, but I dislike how the trackmaster design of the on/off switch is. My kids ranging from year 2-13 constantly, even unintentionally, leave the trains running. The trains run out of batteries very fast because of this.

We had to find Emily to complete my son’s collection. It’s hard to find / not made anymore which is why it’s on the pricier side. He loves it!

Daughter needed some female engines to counter the large number of males we already owned. Emily has proven to be as good as of the boy engines and she is very happy.

Der Zug sieht nicht nur toll aus, er ist auch qualitativ gut. Er besteht aus Plastik und kann so bei Stürzen einiges im Gegensatz zu den Metallzügen aushalten, welche meist die Farbe verlieren. Mein Neffe liebt diese Züge und spielt jeden Tag damit, er nimmt sie auch überall mit. Solange er glücklich ist, bin ich auch glücklich und ich muss ehrlich sein, sehr günstig sind sie sicherlich, denn sie sind langanhaltend und man zahlt dennoch nur ganz wenig dafür. Sie passen auch auf Brio Holzschienen oder eben die von Thomas und seine Freunde.
