Fire starters totally assist in starting fire in our woodstove. Have been buying for several years now and it was impossible to find in a retail outlet. Product was shipped very quickly, had sooner than it was scheduled for. Awesome!

The media could not be loaded.  These are pretty darn robust and they work like a charm.First thing I noticed was zero plastic in the packaging. I like that because they’re natural starter squares and just really appreciate they did that.In my video you’ll see my 12-year old light a square in a quick second.The squares are super easy to break apart. Almost like breaking cookies in half.Fire squares looks like a bunch of brown paper pulp is smashed together in a way that makes it light easy.Basically after lighting the starter squares turns into a black charcoal looking thing and stays burning for a bit.

We have used Timber lite fire starters from the time we purchased our wood stove! Easy to use.

Takes two cubes, had others that one (cut in half) was plenty. Seems dried out. Past expiration date.

According to some of the reviews, others aren't that happy with this product. My experience is very different--I am very happy with these firestarters. I have been using another brand in our wood stove for a long time. They worked well and made starting fires much simpler. However, I saw these while shopping at a grocery store in northern Maine near where our vacation cabin is located and decided to give them a try. The TimberLite squares break apart more easily and cleanly. They light much quicker and the seem to burn both longer and hotter. Plus, they are less expensive. What's not to like?

These squares light very easy and burn several minutes with a hot flame. I keep them on hand all the time. I use them when camping and when burning a fire pit at home on the patio. I have nothing but high praise for this product.

I bought these specifically because I was about out of the old ones and they worked great. The product that came this time had a slight color difference of the actual squares in an identical box. These do not burn as long as the older ones I had and consequently now take 4 squares instead of 2 to get my wood stove going using the same wood.

It makes lighting your camp fire easy!
