I have a small business selling prints and I go through a lot of these so I buy them bulk to save money. The quality is a bit hit or miss, I guess it depends on who you purchase it from.I have bought these 4 times now. First time they were great quality. 2nd tme they were flimsy and would not do the job so they were returned. 3rd time they were great quality again. I have just bought them for a 4th time and the quality of the ones I have just received are horrendous. They are the flimsiest hard backed envelopes I have ever seen. I have attached photos which showed the difference between the ones I received today ( bottom envelope ) compared to the same envelope I received last time. When you hold the envelope with 2 fingers it literally flops over. There is absolutely 0 support. I sell prints and I would NEVER even attempt to send 1 out in this envelope. There is no way they would arrive in a good condition. This is the last time I will ever buy these direct from Aamzon and the quality is just so hit or miss. To be honest I only ordered them this time because I was running short and needed them in a hurry. Looks like I will be ordering elsewhere. Stay clear unless you like to gamble. 1 order can be fine but the next is horrendous. I have already put through a returns request for them.

The first batch I ordered were as described, solid and perfect for my small business. The second and latest batch I received was abysmal. The envelopes were extremely thin and flimsy. Judging by the reviews as well as my personal experience, this company appears to lack in consistency. If you do decide to purchase, expect the unexpected. You MIGHT get what you ordered.

Should have had a closer look at some of the reviews, maybe I also got sent a dud or a cheap batch but product the paper front is so thin, torn in one already, and the card backing just isn't strong. Might be useful for documents or something, but as I'm sending prints and artwork I won't risk these...

Please find your envelopes elsewhere. These have let me down so much, they just fall apart. I've used them to post things to my customers, both in the UK and overseas and more often than not they've been falling apart by the time they reach their destination. Absolutely not worth the money, or the time you'll spend managing your customer complaints if you use them as part of your business.

Awful!Was in a rush so ordered these without reading the reviews! Big mistake. These are so flimsy- actually have no right to call themselves 'Cardboard Backed'. I arranged for a return but was caught in a jam and needed to send orders out so had to use them by ripping one apart and gluing the 'cardboard' into the envelope to double up the thickness!Not impressed, would not buy again!

I found the quality on these just fine. They’re comparable to others I’ve bought and aren’t super thin. I’d absolutely buy again except for 1 thing...Mine have a weird issue in that they arrived with a horrendous smell-roughly similar to following a bin lorry on a hot day, and it’s really pungent en masse. The first batch we took out of the box took 4 days before our home office stopped smelling almost like something had died in there. I hope it wasn’t noticeable by the time a single one got to a customer.Really odd and a shame because they were otherwise great.

These arrived and I was dissapointed. The board within the envelope is very thin . So thin in fact it doest even stay straigh/rigid when you pick it up or under its own weight. I have no choice but to use them now I have them, But will have to double up to achieve any sort of rigidity or they are useless. To give you an Idea.. three of these pass through the 5mm gauage on a post office Letter Guage. The paper is of poor quality too. I am surpirsed that Blake would broduce something so shambolic, as I've bought thier products for years and they oare of the highest quality. Usually

I've been buying these envelopes for my small business for some time and have had no problems. However, the last few batches received (including this one) contained thin, warped envelopes which were also bent in the corners. I really needed the envelopes, so have had to make do. However, I will be looking at ordering them from elsewhere in future.
