Musician built pedalboard
They were easy to install. While the units are plastic, they seem well built for what they are. It’s also nice to be able to use the same unit for either TRS or TS applications. They held up to 385°F soldering tip. Each one also is labeled T R S near each soldering point. As per the picture, I used 8 of these. 2 for FX loop, 2 for Wah loop, 1 input, 1 expression pedal(TRS), and 2 for stereo outs. I would recommend these for anyone building custom boards

The quality is good and the price is great
I recently purchased several of these to go on a custom pedal board I built for my guitar effects. I had purchased some metal ones made by another company but y Monster cables didn't fit in them correctly causing signal loss and static. These did the trick! It is common knowledge that some 1/4" jacks don't work well with Monster cables. Monster cable users should feel confident these will work for them. The quality is good and the price is great!

are fairly easy to solder a cable to on the inside end
I ordered these for a pedalboard build I was in the middle of, as I didn't want to worry about a cable coming unplugged in the middle of a set. They do what they need to, are fairly easy to solder a cable to on the inside end, and have held up well so far. I do wish that they were made of metal, or something a little more heavy duty. They're constructed of a strong, heavy duty, plastic, and like I said, have held up fine so far. These were cheaper than Neutrik's or other metal ones, so I really can't complain that much.

Perfect for Guitar Pedal Boards
It took a little searching on the internet to find the correct wiring for these jacks, but once that information was in hand, these installed quickly and worked wonderfully. To save some time searching else where, the wiring is as follows; From the back of the jack you will see 3 leads, a left, center and right lead. The left lead is the hot 1, this is where you would connect the center wire of your guitar cable. The center jack is the ground, and you would attached the copper shielding wire to this pin. Gently open the braid and peel all the wire to one side, and then twist it into a single lead before attaching. If you are using these connections on a stereo application, the right lead is the hot 2 and connects to the second center wire in your cable.

Noisey, not useable
UPDATE: I installed one of these jacks and found it to be very noisy in use. Everything seems ok on the outside but hit was not making good contact with he 1/4" plug. There was nothing could do to fix it. I ordered real Neutrik jacks to replace this and it worked perfectly. I threw all four of the GLS jacks away.I purchased these jacks to add to existing floor pockets. They exceeded my expectations by a lot. The quality is good and the locking mechanism works well. The only thing that could be improved is to label the terminals. I had to take out my meter to know which was the tip, ring and sleeve. It would be nice if they were labeled on the jack.

Cheap plastic
If you want a cheap, plastic panel-mount jack that holds somewhat securely, this is the product for you! For $1-$1.50/jack more you could buy all-metal jacks from Neutrik or Procraft that are significantly more solid and hold cables much more securely. For light-duty applications these are probably fine, if a bit pricey for what you get. For studios, pedal boards, or other rigs where you'll be constantly plugging and unplugging cables it probably makes more sense to spend the extra-money for an all-metal jack.

Nice item. Shipping was not so nice.
The items are exactly what I hoped for. What I didn’t like is the delivery time, which was moved out QUITE A BIT more than originally advertised. Because of that, I had to buy something else locally at much higher cost to meet the deadline I had. DO NOT move your already long lead time out even farther and not expect me to blast you. This is nice compared to what I was going to leave.
