I've had a lot of good luck with refurbished/renewed items on amazon over the years. That luck continues now.I saw this phone was both cheaper and newer than a renewed pixel 2, and I needed a new phone(so of course I picked it up). When it arrived, it had a little dust outline around the camera and fingerprint sensor where someone once had a case, it wiped off perfectly easily, and even if it hadn't I was buying a case anyway. Other than that the phone was perfect, good as new even.It has ~2 days battery life on one charge, and that's with my screen is on a good portion of the time.Overall the phone is super responsive and can run smoothly no matter how many apps I open and forget to close(big upgrade over my huawei honor 5x, which as of a week or so ago when I got this phone, was chugging with JUST google maps open).Camera quality is phenomenal, one of the best cameras(not phone cameras mind you) I've used, period, it has fantastic picture quality and the colors are much more true to life than my last phone(honor 5x). It does good with white balancing, so I've not had any washed out or overly dark pictures.I never used google assistant before, outside of a little messing around with my old phone years ago, and I can say that since then it's really improved. It understands me and my baltimore accent(just search baltimore accent or "aaron earned an iron urn" on youtube) with ease. It knows the song that's currently playing in my background and I've even had it send a text to my girlfriend. I'd turn it off if I cared about my privacy of course, which you can do, but for me, the convenience is nice.

New buyers don't be afraid of old reviews, this is a crazy awesome deal -- check out recent reviews as a lot of the bad ones are from 2019.Just got the phone and it's really excellent. Feels totally new. Cosmetically there is some VERY MINOR wear that is not noticeable without really squinting. Nothing that a case won't cover. Screen is totally clean.Everything about the phone works flawlessly. Updated quickly to Android 11. Runs very fast and smooth. I tried both Verizon and AT&T sim cards and both worked instantly, confirming the phone is fully unlocked.This is an unbelievable deal for $140. You have up to date software support and a Snapdragon 845, OLED FHD+ display, wireless fast charging, stereo speakers, global unlock-- the whole package is just way more than is possible with any other option at this price point. Battery is small but if you're not a power user/gamer you won't notice because Google's software optimization is so good.Maybe the renewed phone is a little risky but hey it's Amazon so if it doesn't work then just send it back and try again. My only issue was the packaging, the phone was not padded inside the box, just flopping around in there so some of the tiny cosmetic wear may have actually come from shipping.Anyway this is an incredible deal and you won't find any phone of this quality for this price. I've had it for just a day so we'll see but for now, extremely happy customer, phone feels like new. Love it!

seller sent the item and it was in good condition. worked fine. the problem is that google, either out of incompetence or malice (planned obsolescence), used a low endurance flash chip with low TBW in this phone. which will cause your phone to suddenly brick its self, most commonly in the middle of the night while you're asleep. it will essentially be stuck in EDL mode with any data you didn't back up being inaccessible (i lost over a year of pictures and videos of my son and family). that is, unless google releases "qualcomm firehose files" which could fix the issue, but they won't because they'd rather you resorting to buying another phone they'll profit from. i recommend buying a different brand of phone, even if from this vendor. i also highly recommend you look up "reddit how to degoogle" to stop feeding into 80% of the yearly profits google makes from using spyware to farm your personal data, including emails, texts, and even conversations to sell to advertising companies. take your privacy and security seriously, or it's already gone. -again, this was a google issue, not an issue with this vendor. only problem i have with vendor is i can't contact them directly to try to get this issue taken care of.

So far I like the phone. Had a few issues getting mine setup but once I sent a text to seller & was able to get them taken care of. You can charge the phone from another pixel if you have a usb-c cord. They charge quickest with this cord. Usually have more than 50 percent left after 8 hours moderate use. Can also charge from tablet. Had the first pixel which I wasn't big on originally but once it was updated it was a better backup phone. Was identifying songs on car stero without me even asking it to. These phones are great if you use prime music, movies etc. The phone takes great photos that can be doctored if you need to.Use my wireless headphones since it uses an attachment to get wired ones to work. Perfect for answering calls 👍. Great sound and work better than wired.Don't seem to have using the phone when theres sun glare either.Decent speaker for movies and music. Wish phones still had a removable battery. (Recently replaced one for my other pixel he only charged me $8.50 installed) Hoping it lasts longer than my Moto Z3. It only made it a year and got it new from VZ store.
